Dr. Kelsea Tarlinton
Chiropractor
Dr Kelsea is a chiropractor whose passion for neurological and holistic wellness shapes everything she does — from her first consultation to the ongoing care she provides for children, families and women at Balance & Bloom.
Dr Kelsea specialises in paediatric primitive reflex integration and nervous system regulation, helping children build the neurological foundations needed for emotional stability, coordination and focus. She also brings dedicated expertise to women's health, supporting mothers through the physical and neurological demands of pregnancy, postpartum and beyond — because a regulated, well-supported mum makes all the difference for the whole family.
Her approach is thorough and results-driven, but always grounded in genuine care for the whole person — not just the presenting symptoms.
What sets Dr Kelsea apart is her commitment to collaboration. She works closely with the full multidisciplinary team at Balance & Bloom, ensuring every patient benefits from a truly connected, coordinated approach to their care. Because when practitioners work together, outcomes are better for everyone.
Whether she's supporting a child through developmental challenges, a mother through recovery, or a family building lasting wellness habits — Dr Kelsea brings focus, warmth and expertise to every session.

Dr. Mary Sarfas
Chiropractor & Kinesiologist
Dr Mary brings a truly one-of-a-kind combination of skills to Balance & Bloom — blending chiropractic care with kinesiology and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) to deliver integrative, whole-person care that goes deeper than most.
At the heart of Dr Mary's work is the understanding that the body, brain and emotions are inseparable. Through primitive reflex integration and nervous system regulation, she helps children and adults build the neurological foundations needed for focus, coordination and emotional stability. Her kinesiology training adds another dimension — identifying how stress, emotion and physical tension are held in the body, and gently releasing what's getting in the way of optimal function.
NET is a particular point of difference. This evidence-based technique allows Dr Mary to address the mind-body connection in a way that supports lasting emotional regulation — something that resonates deeply with the families and individuals she works with.
Whether she's supporting a child through developmental challenges, helping a parent navigate stress and overwhelm, or working with individuals seeking greater balance and wellbeing — Dr Mary's personalised, integrative approach ensures every person feels truly seen and supported.

Dr. Leah Defeo
Chiropractor
Dr Leah is a chiropractor with a deep passion for nervous system health across every stage of life — from children through to women navigating the demands of motherhood and beyond.
For her paediatric patients, Dr Leah specialises in primitive reflex integration and nervous system regulation — foundational work that helps children develop greater balance, coordination, focus and emotional regulation. When the nervous system is well-supported, everything else has a chance to fall into place.
For women, Dr Leah brings a targeted focus to spinal and neurological health, understanding the unique physical demands placed on a woman's body through pregnancy, postpartum and everyday life. Her care goes beyond symptom relief — she works to restore the body's natural ability to regulate, adapt and thrive.
Gentle, thorough and genuinely invested in each person's wellbeing, Dr Leah is the kind of practitioner who looks at the whole picture — and helps every patient find their balance.

Chione Sofianidis
Clinical Nutritionist
Chione is Balance & Bloom's neurological clinical nutritionist, bringing a deeply personalised and investigative approach to wellness that perfectly complements the practice's whole-body philosophy.
Chione understands that true health starts from within. She specialises in the gut-brain connection and vagus nerve regulation — recognising that what happens in the body at a biochemical level has a profound impact on nervous system function, emotional regulation and overall wellbeing. It's the kind of inside-out thinking that makes her an invaluable part of the Balance & Bloom team.
What makes Chione's approach truly unique is her use of functional testing to uncover each person's individual picture. From gut microbiome analysis and genetic testing to heavy metals, mycotoxins, and insights from blood, urine, hair, saliva and stool — she leaves no stone unturned in understanding what your body needs to thrive.
From there, Chione builds tailored nutrition and wellness plans that work in harmony with the care being delivered across the rest of the multidisciplinary team — ensuring every patient receives integrated, connected support rather than isolated advice.
Whether she's supporting a child with gut health and regulation, or helping a mother restore her energy and resilience, Chione meets each person with curiosity, warmth and a genuine commitment to lasting change.

Chloe Gulson
Paediatric & Women's Health Physiotherapist:
Chloe is a physiotherapist with a heart for supporting children and mothers through every stage of growth and recovery — making her a natural fit for the Balance & Bloom family.
With paediatric patients, Chloe takes a gentle, play-based approach to neurological rehabilitation, helping children build strength, balance and coordination in a way that feels fun and safe. She has a particular focus on children with developmental delays or low muscle tone, meeting each child at their own pace and celebrating every milestone along the way.
For mothers, Chloe specialises in pelvic floor rehabilitation and core restoration — supporting women from pre-pregnancy through to postpartum recovery. She understands that a strong foundation matters at every stage, and she's passionate about helping mums feel confident and capable in their bodies again.
Beyond her core specialties, Chloe also treats general musculoskeletal conditions across all ages — because when the whole family moves well, everyone thrives.

She is also trained in dry needling, using this technique alongside hands-on therapy and tailored exercise programs to help reduce pain, improve movement, and support recovery.

Emma Armstrong
Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Emma brings a uniquely whole-body approach to paediatric occupational therapy. With specialist training in nervous system regulation, Emma helps children find calm, focus and confidence — whether that's navigating tricky transition times, building skills for the classroom, or simply feeling more settled in their bodies day to day.
Emma works closely with schools, conducting visits to understand each child's environment and ensure support carries through beyond the clinic. Her background in Pilates also sets her apart — she weaves core strength and postural training into every session, recognising that a strong, stable body is the foundation for a regulated nervous system.
Whether your child is struggling with transitions, sensory overwhelm, attention, or body awareness, Emma meets them where they are — and works with the whole family to help them thrive.
